Matthew 1: 18 - 25
Today the reading is about the dream of Joseph. He was understandably upset to find out his betrothed was pregnant and it took an angelic visitor to convince him that Mary was truly carrying a child of the Holy Spirit.
Now, as Christmas is just a few days away, I am caught up in the wonder of what it would have been like to be Mary and Joseph in that little stable, far from home, when Jesus entered the world. I am so glad that he did!
